Lovely Vintage White Enamel Ribbon Brooch by Trifari Jewellery
This smashing brooch is absolutely awesome in person. It is a match to the earrings not shown here; however, I believe it stands alone, so I am listing it separately. I was fortunate to find two pieces, and if someone buys the earrings, they may also choose to purchase this beauty. On the other hand, one might wish to opt for just the brooch, so it stands alone to be admired and appreciated.
Another Trifari vintage beauty! This stunning rare and classic Trifari brooch is fashioned in a three-dimensional design; the brooch features a lovely white enamel ribbon with the swirling design that enhancing the three-dimensional presentation. This beauty measures 2" in length and wide. The brooch is signed Trifari on the back and an exquisite example of TRIFARI'S quality and workmanship. So don't hesitate—the pin in excellent vintage condition.
Since the 1920s, Trifari has been one of the most respected and admired producers of costume jewellery in the United States. Unless the item is listed as a 'new' item, evidence of normal age/use should be expected. The photos on our listings are never stock photos as we take all of our own photos, so what you see is what you get. Please look over your desired item closely before purchasing.
Now, we mostly sell vintage jewellery and "new old stock" that has never been worn, that come out of various estates. This means that it has been pre-owned. That means that it could have some light wear, and possibly some tarnish. IF there are any flaws, such as missing stones, or damaged stones, we will definitely make that clear in the listing description. We just need our customers to understand that we generally do not sell brand new items.
Our shop has a good working knowledge of vintage jewellery, as most of what we sell has been pre-owned and will thus have some form of wear. Please use common sense when bidding. We cannot possibly cover every detail in a listing, and will thus describe the listings as best as we can. For example, shades of blue are subjective and so are concepts of what looks "too good" to be vintage, or what is "too worn" to be acceptable to a collector, as everyone has their own tastes.
If you have specific needs, do your part, and contact me.
We do not normally clean many of our vintage items as most antique jewellery collectors and enthusiasts prefer that they are kept with the integrity of the piece and patina that occurs naturally over time. This particular piece was gently cleaned with a soft cloth. No harsh chemicals were used to clean this piece.
