Nothing could be finer than jewellery from CINER, and here is another offering from this super company. Ciner Manufacturing Company is known for using high-quality heavy metal settings with rich gold plating (usually 18 karats), giving the jewellery a substantial feel and longevity in wear. Pieces by this manufacturer -- many of which imitate fine jewellery -- have been owned and worn by numerous celebrities including Elizabeth Taylor and Queen Sophia of Spain, according to a 1992 New York Times article on the company. Introducing a pair of lustrous off white colour, like milk colour glass cabochons clip earrings, set in a bright swirled gold plated setting. The cabochons show through on the reverse side, which is finished in a brushed gold-tone. The stamp CINER is found twice on each clip, and they measure 1" in diameter and 1/2" tall. The earrings come in very good vintage condition. (Only minor evidence of handling ). These beautiful earrings may be worn with casual as well as with dressy outfits. You will always have the perfect "finishing touch" when that touch comes from CINER!

We do not normally clean many of our vintage items as most antique jewellery collectors and enthusiasts prefer that they are kept with the integrity of the piece and patina that occurs naturally over time. This particular piece was gently cleaned with a soft cloth. No harsh chemicals were used to clean this piece.
