This delicious brooch is one you'll want to wear often. The brooch presented here is signed Crown Trifari with a copyright symbol. Because all Trifari vintage jewellery was signed, it’s easy to identify the approximate age with the signature. Crown Trifari with copyright symbol - 1955 through 1969 This beauty is fashioned in an openwork design using textured gold-tone setting and white enamel. It's actually quite elegant. This lovely, fresh and unusual and dramatic brooch measures approx 2 1/4 inches in diameter it comes in excellent vintage condition.
since the 1920s, Trifari has been one of the most respected and admired producers of costume jewellery in the United States. Founded in the 1910s by Gustavo Trifari, the Italian-immigrant son of a Napoli goldsmith, the company has designed jewellery that’s been worn by countless high-profile clients, from Mamie Eisenhower to Madonna.

For example, shades of blue are subjective and so are concepts of what looks "too good" to be vintage, or what is "too worn" to be acceptable to a collector, as everyone has their own tastes.

We do not normally clean many of our vintage items as most antique jewellery collectors and enthusiasts prefer that they are kept with the integrity of the piece and patina that occurs naturally over time. This particular piece was gently cleaned with a soft cloth. No harsh chemicals were used to clean this piece.
