Beautiful Vintage Lucky Penny Brooch by Kirks Folly Jewellery


A lovely vintage handcrafted brooch from Kirks Folly Jewellery company has arrived for your consideration. It is done in a brushed gold tone and iridescent enamel in soft blue and pink shades. The theme incorporates cherubim holding a Lucky penny with an angel cut out. The brooch's right side has a beautiful clover and ribbon design from which three golden lucky charms dangle, giving this piece dimension and movement. One of the charms is a lucky clover, another a lucky horseshoe embellished with a faceted aurora borealis crystal and a golden little lucky charm one cent 1964. Measuring 2 1/4" across and 3 1/2" from top to bottom comes in mint never-worn vintage condition. The brooch signed twice Kirks Folly on the back. We do not normally clean many of our vintage items as most antique jewellery collectors and enthusiasts prefer that they are kept with the integrity of the piece and patina that occurs naturally over time. This particular piece was gently cleaned with a soft cloth. No harsh chemicals were used to clean this piece.
