Art Deco jewellery has a really modern look and is always a stylish choice, and this fabulous Art Deco necklace is a classic example of the best workmanship and design. This vintage necklace dates to the 1920s up to the 1930s. Here we have quality lead crystal glass jewels that have been beautifully faceted and carefully hand set into chrome-plated mounts. The jewels are not foiled, so never lose their lustre.

This Art Deco necklace features spectacular crystals that reflect purple, gold and turquoise highlights. I believe it will also reflect the colour of the dress, sweater, etc., that is worn with it. The necklace is ablaze with colour and cannot help but be noticed and is one that cannot be ignored. Crystals look great with the steely shiny chromed metal links. The length of the necklace is 19 inches, including 2 and 1/2 inches extender and hook clasp. This precious beauty comes in excellent vintage condition.

For example, shades of blue are subjective and so are concepts of what looks "too good" to be vintage, or what is "too worn" to be acceptable to a collector, as everyone has their own tastes.

We do not normally clean many of our vintage items as most antique jewellery collectors and enthusiasts prefer that they are kept with the integrity of the piece and patina that occurs naturally over time. This particular piece was gently cleaned with a soft cloth. No harsh chemicals were used to clean this piece.
